îlot d'habitations - porte de versailles-paris
The project aims to create a new residential block along Boulevard des Maréchaux, based on a spatial organisation that reconciles urban density with quality of use. The heart of the block forms the structuring element of the scheme. It accommodates a daycare centre, a through-route and a shared garden, composing a set of complementary and collectively used outdoor spaces.
The landscape ambition is to create a welcoming, generously planted environment offering a variety of atmospheres suited to everyday uses. The garden design takes into account the presence of the underground car park and reveals its structural layout. Where load-bearing columns are located, greater soil depths are provided, allowing for the planting of trees and the development of substantial vegetation masses. This constructive reading becomes a design driver, enhancing the landscape quality of the courtyard.
The spaces are laid out as small plots in order to remain adaptable and, if appropriate, to be transformed into collective gardens should a dynamic of resident appropriation and gardening emerge.
The roof terraces are also planted and fully integrated into the landscape system. Rainwater is collected and reused for irrigation, contributing to responsible resource management and to the overall climatic comfort of the project.
